Who we are
Our regeneration journey began in February of 2022 when we bought a hobby farm at the edge of an oak-conifer woodland on the steppes of the Cascade Mountain Range in California’s Far North.
We were enjoying our time here so much that we set-out to go beyond sharing it with friends and family.
It was the simple fact that there’s so much to learn and love in this amazing place. So we thought, where better than immersed within this natural setting to learn how good food is grown, regeneratively? And where better for a group of friends to gather to share a common cause, or to celebrate a special occasion, or to pick-up and hone a new skill or practice?
This journey has already proven rewarding- through much on-site observation, reading, data collection and analysis, numerous workshops and courses on farming and ranching- and oh, the hours and hours of podcasts!
But mostly what we’ve learned is that every context is unique, including ours. For us this has meant learning by doing more than anything else- yes, making those mistakes! It has been the most humbling, and yet the most rewarding, experience of our lives.
It is this gratifying discovery that led us to dive headlong into the work of preparing this place to accommodate others seeking to learn, grow and yes, live, regeneratively. You need only ask yourself one question to confirm this within yourself:
Am I looking to “sustain” myself, or do I strive to regenerate everything I touch, and everything, and everyone, that touches me?
